This one makes me think of fresh mountain air in the springtime, pale cherry blossoms, and blue skies streaked with wispy clouds.

This piece pays homage to an old favorite of mine, burleque star Dorian Dennis.

These ladies of historic burlesque have inspired me and my aesthetic for about a decade now. In some regards i’ve moved on from retro pin-up stuff, but now and then I like to dig up old books and photos and revisit my appreciation.
Cast from a hand-carved original in a one-of-a-kind color combination.
This ring has a transparent red shank full of shimmer and red glitter. Dorian Dennis is featured on the top, under a clear layer and surrounded by glitter. The underside is grey, flecked with still more glitter, and hand shaped.

Top measures 3.5cm (1&5/8inches) diameter

Have An Orange

Cast from a hand-carved original in a one-of-a-kind color combination.
This ring has a transparent orange shank, with a vintage orange crate label image on top, laminated under clear resin. The underside is blue-grey and hand shaped. The ring-band itself has been shaped to have four sides on the outside, coming to a peak at the bottom.
What is interesting about this ring is the way that light can shine through the ring band to illuminate the image from behind. The orange and blue blend together asymmetrically underneath the image.
Top measures 3.5cm (1&5/8inches) diameter

The shank of this ring is a pearly pastel pink. Each top corner is accented with a classic white rhinestone. In the center are four more rhinestones, pewter colored. Topped with a springy-green transparent glass tile.

The shank of this ring is a creamy light yellow with a faint sparkle. Each top corner is accented with a vintage “sand opal” swarovski rhinestone. I think this is my favorite color rhinestone, and I can’t seem to find them anymore! In the center is a mauve crystal glass tile. Under a shiny sparkly shimmering mist.
